Tender sources
Tender sources are the feeds that power discovery. Each source is a connector that fetches procurement notices from a public portal, which Bidderops then normalizes and scores against your bid profile.
Supported sources
| Source | What it is | What the connector needs |
|---|---|---|
| EU TED | Tenders Electronic Daily — EU public procurement. | A TED expert query string. |
| World Bank | World Bank procurement notices. | A borrower country and notice type. |
| UNDP | UNDP procurement notices. | An optional ISO-3 country code (omit for the global feed). |
| IDB | Inter-American Development Bank notices. | A country. |
| Custom RSS / Atom | Any RSS or Atom feed URL. | The feed URL, with optional country and sector hints. |
The public-portal sources require no credentials — they read openly available notices.
How sync works
- On a schedule — feeds refresh automatically every day.
- On demand — use Sync now in Settings → Discover → Sources to fetch immediately.
Each source shows its health: last status, last error (if any), the number of items found, and the time of the last sync, so you can tell at a glance whether a connector is working.
How matching works
As notices arrive, each is scored against your bid profile — sectors, countries, keywords, and value range — to produce a match score. Higher scores rise to the top of your Discover inbox. You can also apply the optional AI scoring boost to re-rank a selection with a language model.
Notices you import become full opportunities in your pipeline; their deadlines continue to be refreshed automatically as the source updates.
