Discovery & sourcing
Discovery brings opportunities to you. Instead of manually checking tender portals, Bidderops pulls notices from external feeds, scores each one against your firm’s profile, and presents the best matches in an inbox.
The Discover inbox
The inbox lists sourced tenders ranked by match score. Each configured source gets its own tab, labeled with the name you gave the source (or its type if unnamed). This means two feeds of the same type (e.g. two RSS feeds) appear as separate tabs.
Each item shows:
- The match percentage and the reason behind it
- The tender’s title, sector, country, authority, and value
For each item you can:
- Import it — turning it into an opportunity in your pipeline, or
- Dismiss it — removing it from the inbox.
Imported items remain visible in the inbox with an Imported badge so you can see what you have already pulled in. Only new items show the Import and Dismiss buttons.
Your bid profile
Matching is driven by your bid profile, configured in Settings:
- Sectors you operate in
- Countries you target
- Keywords that signal a good fit
- A value range (minimum and maximum contract value)
The closer a tender aligns with these, the higher its match score. You can also apply an AI scoring boost that re-ranks a selection of tenders using a language model.
Sources
The Sources manager lets you add, edit, enable, and remove feed connectors, and shows the health of each (last status, last error, items found, last sync time). Each source has an optional Label field — the label is shown as the tab name in the Discover inbox. You can trigger an immediate Sync now, and feeds also refresh automatically on a daily schedule.
Supported source types include EU TED, the World Bank, UNDP, the IDB, and any custom RSS/Atom feed. See Tender sources for the details of each connector and what it needs.
